Riviera Private Driver was founded in March 2018 by Christophe Grosso, in luxury tourism on the French Riviera since 2012 and a chauffeur since summer 2017. Our professional chauffeurs look after you with punctuality and discretion, from the airport to the palace hotels, from business meetings to the Riviera's grandest evenings.
We track your flight in real time. If it is delayed, your chauffeur adjusts and the waiting time is free.
Your chauffeur waits for you in the arrivals hall with a sign bearing your name, and takes care of your luggage.
Leather seats, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, chilled water, sweets and chargers: everything is ready before you arrive.
Complete discretion, from private villa to palace hotel. What is said on board stays on board.

Discover Nice Airport
A runway on the sea, the Alps in the distance and the Baie des Anges beneath the wings: on the French Riviera, the trip begins before you even land.
Built partly on land reclaimed from the Mediterranean, at the end of the Promenade des Anglais, Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is the third busiest in France. Scheduled flights arrive at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, linked by tram. Private jets have their own business aviation terminal, one of the busiest in Europe, and helicopters reach Monaco in seven minutes.
Everything is close by. Central Nice is a quarter of an hour away, Antibes and the Sophia Antipolis technology park around twenty-five minutes, Cannes and Monaco less than forty-five minutes by motorway or along the Basse Corniche. Right next to the airport, the Arénas business district brings together offices and hotels, and tram line 2 runs to the city centre and the port.
Landing for a trade show in Cannes or a meeting in Monaco? You are dropped at the door and the return is timed around your evening flight: see our Business and conferences page. On holiday, the drive from the airport can be a first outing: a detour via Saint-Paul-de-Vence or the Grande Corniche before reaching your hotel, just like a private tour.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a transfer from Nice Airport?
The price is fixed, VAT included and per vehicle, shown before you book. In an E-Class: €70 to central Nice, €90 to Antibes, €120 to Cannes and €130 to Monaco. Allow from €90 in a V-Class and from €120 in an S-Class. From 15 November to 15 April, the winter rate brings them down.
How long does it take from Nice Airport?
As a guide: about 15 minutes to central Nice, 25 minutes to Antibes, 35 minutes to Cannes and 40 minutes to Monaco. Depending on the season and the time of day, the journey may take longer.
Where does the chauffeur meet me at the airport?
In the arrivals hall, just after you leave the secure area, at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Your flight is tracked and waiting is free, even if the plane is late. The chauffeur then takes you to the car, parked in the area reserved for private-hire vehicles, close to the terminal exit.
Do you pick up private jet passengers?
Yes, at the business aviation terminal of Nice Airport. Just mention it when you book, with your expected arrival time.
Are your prices fixed?
Yes. The price is shown before you book, including VAT and per vehicle, and it does not change afterwards.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes: child car seats and booster seats. Just mention it when you book.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Up to 6 hours before pick-up, you can cancel free of charge or change your booking yourself, from your booking page (and during the hour after a booking made later than that). After that, contact us directly and we will do our very best.
How do I pay?
Directly on the website, by card, when you book: your booking is confirmed straight away. You can also pay in the car, by card (American Express accepted) or in cash.
What is the difference between a private chauffeur (VTC) and a taxi?
A VTC (private-hire chauffeur) is booked in advance and its price is fixed when you book. A taxi can be taken without booking, at a rank or in the street, and its fare usually depends on the meter. Riviera Private Driver is a VTC service.
